Special Olympics Vermont Winter Games

Who are the Bluebirds

The Bluebirds are open to any skier or snowboarder with a cognitive disability. Bluebird athletes commit to training at least ten Sunday mornings between January and March. Training sessions are  held Sunday mornings at Mount Snow.

Cost of the Bluebirds

There are no cost for the Bluebird training sessions. We ask that all members have their own pass to Mount Snow, and athletes are required to have their own equipment including helmet. A Special Olympic Athlete Lift Pass is available for $100 and is only valid for the season on Special Olympic Training Days, and must be purchased in advanced from ASMS.

We seek to fund all athletes to the Winter Games. We ask that each athlete take part in helping to raise a part of the funds.
