As we look forward to next year lets recap from last years fantastic events.:
July 20-22, 2018, we had 19 people involved in Pedalfest. We had a large down hill group lead by guest coaches, retired Red Bull Racer Brian Bartlett of Left Side Industries and Jason Lalla of Next Step Prosthetics. Together they were all able to make successful runs down the beginner downhill trail at Mount Snow.
There was a small group that worked on basic bike handling skills that was able to tour the bottom of the mountain area and complete several laps of the practice pump track.
Chris Kreidl from Unior Bike Tools USA hosted a home mechanics clinic after lunch. Saturday night, ASMS along with Mount Snow, hosted a community "Film at the Barn" showing of Teton Gravity Research "unReal: unREALize Your Potential" the mountain bike a experience. Even though it was cold, the community came out to support.
Special thanks goes out to Mount Snow and Karl, Nick and Josh from Mount Snow Sports in the Grand Summit Hotel, did an awesome job setting us up with bikes and protective gear! If you need a tune on your bike or something just isn't sounding right on it, take it to them! They do a top notch job!
Many thanks to all those who were involved in making this the first summer program for ASMS! We can't wait to do it again next year!
"No words good enough for the amazing care you had for me...And what a wonderful bunch of guys! Great new challenge ahead! Now I have to decide what bike will be good for me."-Claudio, Pedalfest client
